i am still recovering from yesterday. It has been a long time coming and every beer I drank last night was worth it. Why was Broke Beads celebrating? Well, I feel for the first time ever, we actually pulled off a pro recording of our stuff. We have been living the past years in 4-track heaven tweeking songs on our Tascams. Well, as of yesterday, we recorded 2 songs with Kevin Captain Lee at Soul Korea Studios. I don't even know if that is the name, I just heard it from another friend. But this guy has some really good mics a nice setup and he is just fucking fun to work with. I can't say that being in Broke Beads has always been the best thing. At times, I fucking hated everyone in the band and even quit once. But, when I woke up this morning with a weed hangover and listened to what we produced, it made me cry with joy. To think of all the hardships we have faced, and finally have something to show for it is amazing. Broke Beads was started around this time over 4 years ago. For Geoff and I, it has been a long journey. We have seen this project almost die completely many times, but we stayed with this shit. We persevered and last night I fucking danced my ass off, smoked joint after joint, ate as much cajun mushrooms as I could, and drank like I just won the lottery because we as a band have entered a new realm, a new beginning.

I am not going to post the tracks just yet cause they are the rough mixes. But once, we move forward with it, then I'll get it on here.

Tracks:
1. Bubbles.
2. Mushroom Song.
